AutoCAD Drafter / Architectural Intern (Remote)

We are currently hiring a full-time AutoCAD Drafter / Architectural Intern for a U.S.-based architectural firm.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates located in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the Philippines, with advanced English proficiency (C1 level).

The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, working either 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST or 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST.

You will support design, drafting, and documentation efforts across a wide range of project types, working closely with experienced architectural teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support architectural design, drafting, and development of construction documents.
• Prepare detailed construction documentation with minimal supervision.
• Assist with construction schedules and project coordination.
• Apply strong drafting skills using AutoCAD, with a solid understanding of building systems integration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver accurate and high-quality results.
• Contribute proactively to project execution and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in drafting or architectural support roles.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and drafting standards.
• Understanding of how architectural and building systems work together.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication skills and proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Familiarity with Trimble SketchUp.
• Experience using Google Workspace tools.
• Knowledge of Apple OS, MasterSpec, and Microsoft Office (including Project).
