🔸 About the Role

As a Benefits Sales Support Specialist, you’ll provide daily support to clients and employees through email and phone inquiries. You will handle benefit administration tasks, qualifying life events, payroll deduction updates, disability claims, manual enrollments, and assist during Open Enrollment. You'll support the Benefits Administration team with precision, dedication, and excellent customer service.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✨ Provide daily support via the Benefits team Zoom phone queue

✨ Prepare OE workbooks and assist with Open Enrollment tasks

✨ Respond to benefit inquiries through email, task systems, and cases

✨ Process Life, STD, and LTD insurance claims

✨ Ensure accurate and timely employee benefit enrollments & payroll deductions

✨ Set up employee deductions and employer contributions in payroll systems

✨ Resolve urgent payroll discrepancies and calculate arrears

✨ Process Qualifying Life Events according to policies and guidelines

✨ Audit employee deductions and support payroll audit requests

✨ Communicate with insurance carriers for issue resolution

✨ Handle manual enrollments, updates, terminations, and ID card requests

✨ Access carrier portals for plan updates and confirmations

✨ Support benefit administration processes for clients

✨ Generate reports from Prism and maintain system updates

✨ Provide general support in Billing, Reconciliation, COBRA, and Retirement

✨ Meet KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics

✨ Participate in special projects assigned by leadership

✨ Assist employees in resolving unpaid claims and escalated issues

🔹 Required Skills & Competencies

💬 Advanced English (C1) – Reading, Writing & Conversational

📊 Intermediate proficiency in MS Office

🖥 Experience with systems like Client Space, Prism HR, etc.

🤝 Strong customer service & communication skills

📂 Organizational skills & teamwork

😌 Frustration tolerance

🔍 Meticulous and detail‑oriented

📘 Willingness to learn & adapt

⚡ Proactive and flexible

🔹 Experience Required

✔️ 3–5 years of professional experience

✔️ 2 years of experience in Benefits Administration (preferred)

✔️ 2–5 years in customer service, client-facing, or administrative roles

🎓 Desirable

🎯 Administrative or Business‑related academic background

🎯 Professional degree in Business Administration or related fields
