Accounts Payable Analyst - Full Remote

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to perform critical accounting and clerical tasks for Priority Power. This is a 100% Full Remote position. The role is responsible for the efficient maintenance and processing of AP transactions, ensuring accuracy in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of urgency and excellent vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle AP Processing: Code, validate, and post 100-200 PO invoices weekly across various procurement and accounting systems.
• Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records, handle inquiries regarding payment status, and resolve discrepancies in contracts or invoices.
• Compliance & Approvals: Route vendor bills for approval among multiple Project Managers and Department heads in accordance with the budget.
• Financial Support: Prepare monthly journal entries for general accounting, assist with monthly AP bill accruals for month-end close, and support bank reconciliations.
• Communication: Monitor the AP email inbox daily, providing responsive and professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years in full-cycle Accounts Payable roles is preferred.
• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Cloud ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Ability to handle high-transaction volumes and perform complex PO matching.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency.
• Language: Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1) for professional stakeholder interaction.

Position Details:

• Location: 100% Remote.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.
• Environment: Fast-paced, high-transactional volume.
